ISLC-ALLE Discussion Group (Listserv)
This discussion group is open to any interested teacher of second languages.

The ISLC-ALLE discussion group will post announcements of interest to language teachers at all levels, concentrating especially on the province of Alberta.

It will also be a forum for discussion and problem-solving.  If you have a question or would like to share something, post a message to the listserv and fellow teachers or other list members will attempt to respond.  Listservs work through your regular e-mail.  If you send a message to the listserv, it goes to all the members.  If someone else sends a message, it comes to you as an e-mail.  You want to know how other people are implementing the latest version of the core French program?  If there are any complete German grammars on the Web?  Or where you can buy a Mexican magazine in Edmonton?  Ask the listserv, and someone will get back to you with a reply or a lead.

To subscribe to the listserv, simply click here and send the e-mail that comes up.  You don't need a subject.

Or send an e-mail to

majordomo@majordomo.ucalgary.ca

with the message

subscribe alle-l
end

(There is no need for a subject.  The listserv will ignore it.  However, if you have more than one e-mail account, be sure to send the message from the e-mail account you want to receive the messages at.)

To post a message to the listserv, simply send it to alle-l@majordomo.ucalgary.ca
