ISLC Listserv

All members of the ISLC can subscribe to the listserv.  Why would you want to do that?  Well, the ISLC listserv will bring you regular information about activities and news in the language and intercultural teaching area.   It will get you quick answers to questions about language and culture and teaching practice.  And best of all, it's free!

Language Links

The ALLE project (Alberta Language Learning Environment), based at the University of Calgary, is preparing pages of links for teachers of the various languages taught in Alberta.  These pages don't just contain lots of links, they also have links to the most important portals (i.e. pages of links), so they act as a sort of meta-site for each particular language.
  • For Spanish, the SiSpain site at the Spanish Embassy in Ottawa is a good starting point.  It's at http://www.sispain.com/
