Education Buffet

This winter and spring, the Instituto Cervantes in collaboration with the Department of French, Italian and Spanish is proud to offer the 2011 “Spanish Education Buffet”, a series of professional development workshops geared toward Spanish instructors of all levels. These high-quality, thought-provoking workshops are unique in Canada and promise to inspire.

Individuals interested in participating in the Spanish Education Buffet have the option of enrolling in anywhere from 1 to 4 different pedagogical courses. These courses are facilitated by international experts and will take place at the University of Calgary on Friday evenings and Saturdays from March to June.

If you would like to enhance your pedagogical skill set and become familiar with innovative approaches to teaching the Spanish language to students of all ages and levels, then take advantage of these rich and varied workshops! As you study and dialogue with your peers, you will gain many valuable tools for applying theory to practice.

Prospective registrants are encouraged to inquire/enroll as early as possible, as each course is limited to 24 participants and spots fill up quickly.
