Biography

Doctoral candidate with research interest in Second Language Acquisition, Language Teaching Methodology, French Immersion;

Creator and Facilitator of Language Teacher Training Program for graduate students in the Department of French, Italian and Spanish;

Nominated 2006 for Teaching Excellence Award;

Co-author of Chez nous: Branché sur le monde francophone, Canadian edition, Pearson Education Canada, 2006 (textbook for beginner-level college and university French students); 2nd Canadian edition January 2010;

Awarded Queen Elizabeth II Doctoral Scholarship for 2009-2010 and 2010-2011; SSHRC Doctoral Fellowship 2010-2011
