Valeria Lee

Knight of the Order of Stella della Solidarietà Italiana (Star of Italian Solidarity), one Italy's highest honours, on Friday, October 26th, 2007. Arnaldo Minuti, Consul of Italy for Alberta and Saskatchewan, presented Dr. Lee with the award during the celebrations of the Week of the Italian Language in the World at the U of C. Lee, who taught for 34 years, was honoured for her efforts in promoting the Italian language and culture and improving the teaching of Italian language.
