Minors in French, Italian and Spanish

A Minor in French is a particularly good option if you are specializing in an area related to the Francophone world, such as Canadian Studies or Political Science.
To get a Minor in French you must successfully complete between ten and twelve half-course equivalents in French, including at least 6 HCE at the senior level (300 or above). Be aware that some courses have prerequisites.

For a Minor in Italian students must complete at least 10 half courses (and no more than 12). A minimum of 8 and no more than 10 of these courses must be in Italian. The remaining half-course equivalents can be taken in Romance Studies or in courses offered by other Departments, with the prior approval of the Department of French, Italian and Spanish.
